  • The TL desulfurization pump is a new generation of high-efficiency desulfurization pumps, carefully developed based on the successful design and manufacturing experience of the ZM series slurry pumps, targeting the characteristics of desulfurization pumps used in China's flue gas desulfurization. The following is a detailed introduction to the TL desulfurization pump:

    Structural Features

    TL desulfurization pumps typically adopt a horizontal, single-stage, single-suction, suspended (or bracket-mounted) structure and have the following features:

    1. Pump Body: A single-shell design is used; some products may use a steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) shell with a lining thickness of 20~30mm to improve corrosion and wear resistance.

    2. Impeller: The impeller is made of specially formulated high-chromium alloy wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant cast iron, duplex alloy, or special wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials to ensure the pump's long-term stable operation.

    3. Shaft Seal: All shaft seals use mechanical seals, including double-end face mechanical seals, Z-type self-balancing drum seals, K-type dynamic seals, etc. For double-end face mechanical seals, the shaft seal water flow rate is 0.1~1% of the pump flow rate but not less than 1m³/h, and the shaft seal water pressure is equal to 1/2 of the pump outlet pressure. Some products may use a seal without flushing water to prevent pump liquid leakage and prevent bearing damage.

    4. Bearings: Bearings use oil lubrication or thin oil lubrication. In some products, the bearing assembly can be adjusted to change the impeller's position in the desulfurization pump casing, ensuring the pump maintains high efficiency.

    Performance Parameters

    The performance parameters of the TL desulfurization pump cover a wide range, typically including:

    1. Flow Rate: Depending on the model, the flow rate can reach 50~18000m³/h, covering various pump operating conditions for desulfurization systems.

    2. Head: Generally below 100m; some products have a head range of 15~50m.

    3. Material: The pump casing and impeller and other major components are made of alloy wear-resistant materials to improve the pump's wear and corrosion resistance.

    Applicable Operating Conditions

    TL desulfurization pumps are suitable for various desulfurization systems, including limestone slurry transportation, gypsum slurry discharge, recovery, sump pumps, and slurry circulation. Applicable operating conditions include:

    1. Slurry pH range: 2.5~13.

    2. Oxygen ion concentration: Depending on the specific model and material, some products can withstand up to 560000ppm oxygen ion concentration, while others are up to 60000ppm.

    3. Temperature: The applicable medium temperature is within -20~90℃; some products have a maximum slurry temperature of 65℃.
